He was predeceased by: his parents, David Homer and Martha Pauline Gillpatrick (McAdams); his parent-in-law C. H. Hurt; his brothers, Jack, David Homer and Teddy Gillpatrick; his daughter Kathy Jo Middlebrooks; and his siblings-in-law, Charles Drebon Hurt and Barbara Hurt Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Delores A. "Dolly" Gillpatrick (Hurt); his son Patrick K. Gillpatrick; his brother-in-law Jimmy Ray Gillpatrick (Francis); his children-in-law, Mike Middlebrooks (Lisa) and Peggy J. Fussell Gillpatrick; his nieces and nephews, Martha "Sissy" Gillpatrick of Jonesboro, AR, Barbara Arnold (J. C.) of Jonesboro, AR, Jackie Lynn Brewer (Gary), Susan Gillpatrick of Memphis, TN, Renee Taylor (Robert) of Holden, MO, Robert Wilson of Alaska and John R. (Kathleen) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandsons, Nathan D. Gillpatrick, David S. Gillpatrick (Melissa), Darrel L. Gillpatrick (Kelly) and Mitch Stephens (Melanie); his great grandchildren, Brison, Carson, Dawson, Tyson, Kolson, Addie Stephens, Mckenzie, Grant, Kye and Layne Gillpatrick; and his friend Brett Sims. He is also survived by the third of three sons and his mother.
