He was predeceased by: his wife Carolyn Takewell; and his parents, Fred Takewell and Lida Sutton Takewell. He is survived by: his children, Robbie Sue Watts, Tim Takewell, Kelly Takewell, Marty Robinson (Scotty) and Tracy Roark (David); his grandchildren, Don Risher (Wendi), Kata Cascio, Luke Cascio (Angie), Kyle Takewell (Kimberly), Jeni Takewell, Dylan Robinson (Blair), Zan Roark (Kaitlyn), Logan Robinson (Skyler), Chase Roark (Penny), Ethan Roark, Clint Viola and Daniellet Viola; his brother Owen Takewell (Cathie); and his nephews, Danny, Chris and Matt Takewell. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
