She was predeceased by: her husband John Bowers; her parents, Robert Thornhill and Mary Thornhill Hammett; and her daughter Cora Floyd. She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Berry (Derrell) and Lydia Walters (Bryan); and her stepchildren, Sissy Acree (Darvin), Debbie Upshaw (Wayne) and Darrell Bowers. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
