He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Carlton and Eleanor Carlton; and his children, Tara Le'Na and Nelson Wyrick. He is survived by: his wife Paula A. Carlton of West Monroe; his children, Anna Zeigler (Louis) of Farmerville, Alysha Carlton of Gonzales, Stephanie Carlton Nguyen of Lafayette and Renea L. Carlton of West Monroe; and his parents-in-law, Dan and Ouida Childress of West Monroe. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made in her memory to Griffin Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
