He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Roberts Head; his parents, Guice Head and Zula Head; and his brothers, Bobby Head, Charles Head and Edgar Head.
He is survived by: his children, Annette Epps (Mike), Vickie Bumgardner (Thomas) and Mickey Head (Becky); his grandchildren, Mindy Jones (Chris), Ryan Epps (Paige), Laura Bumgardner, Emma Bumgarnder, Sarah Hicks (Conner) and William Head; his great grandchildren, Michael Jones, Sadie Jones and Holland Epps; and his sister Getta "Tot" Harper (Eugene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
