She was predeceased by: her son Jimmy Mack Stancil; her former husband Ollie Mack Stancil; her husband Deuel Coily Smith; her parents, James Sherwood Taylor and Pauline Bearden Taylor; and her brother Garvis Taylor.
She is survived by: her daughter Billie Jean Stancil Christy (J. C.); her daughter-in-law Mollie J. Roberts Stancil; her sister W. Sue Taylor Istre; her grandchildren, Garvis Dwayne Christy (Michele), Ginger Devonne Christy Willis (Matthew), Belinda Jean Christy Hamilton (John), Jimmy Mack Stancil, Jr. and Ronnie Wayne Stancil; and her great grandchildren, Kristin Pauline Willis Tyler, Billie Suzanne Willis Hooper (Mark), Ryan Thomas Hamilton (Sami), Lauren Taylor Christy, Harley Michelle Stancil, Tommy Blake Stancil and Harley Elexis Toney. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cemetery Kilpatrick's Serenity Gardens (8729 Cypress St, West Monroe, LA 71291).
