It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norman E. Dodd (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Rocky Branch, Louisiana, who passed away on September 4, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethrem "Mann" Dodd and Celia Simpson Dodd; his son Bryan Smith; and his grandson Mace Tatum. He is survived by: his wife Carol Sue Dodd; his children, Marilyn Tatum (Huey), Lavenia Freeman (Kerry), Donovan Smith and Eric E. Dodd; his siblings, Ruth Parks and Clayton Dodd (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Daphne Gibson, Tonya Moore and Stormie Israel. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
