She was predeceased by: her husband Edwin H. Emory, Sr.; her son Ken Emory; her parents, Herschel Thornton and Lenora Thornton; her brothers, Clell, Danny, Gerald and Bud Thornton; and her siblings-in-law, Jerry Emory, Billy Banks, Patsy Banks and Rosie Thornton.
She is survived by: her children, Eddie Emory (Melinda) and Lisa Emory; her daughter-in-law Shari Emory; her siblings, Bo Thornton (Gaye) and Nelda Hendrix; her son Brad Gilmore; and her grandchildren, Hannah Emory of Calhoun, Kris Shroeder of Calhoun and Somer Sykes (Jerry) of West Monroe. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
