She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Harrison Canady; her parents, Clifford Scriber and Dora Scriber; her sisters, Annette Chamblee, Georgia Dean, Bonnie Cotton and Faye Hayes; and her niece Tina Campbell.
She is survived by: her sons, Stanley Canady (Sherry) and Don Canady (Donna); her brother Marvin Scriber (Diana); and her grandchildren, Levi Canady, Maygan Bryan and Madison Canady. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
