With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mildred Geneva Harper Brownell (West Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on January 6, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Pierce Harper and Georgia Mae Baugh Harper; her parents-in-law, Fife and Mamie Brownell; her siblings, Donald, Charles Harper and Bama Crowell; her brothers-in-law, Waldon Crowell, Robert Kelly (Bob), Linton Hynum and Maxwell Brown; and her son-in-law Marshall Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband Malcolm Brownell, Sr.; her children, Saundra Nugent, Sylvia Ragland (Fred), Vicky Sanders, Annette Wilkes (Mike), Patti Nelson (Todd) and Malcolm Brownell, Jr. (Lauren); her siblings, Mae Kelly, Margie Brown, Barbara Hynum, Dwayne Harper (Ellen) and Dean Harper; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Harper. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
