He was predeceased by: his mother Georgia Faye Martin Bates. He is survived by: his father Clyde B. Bates (Louise) of Tylertown, MS; his wife Kim Capri Eubanks Bates; his daughters, Chasity Bates Albritton (Michael) of West Monroe, LA, Casie Bates Parker (Daniel) of Farmerville, LA, Amber Bates Saterfiel (Logan) of West Monroe, LA and Laynie Bates Roan (Josh) of West Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Michael Tyler Albritton, Grayson Todd Albritton, Emma Grace Albritton, Jaxon Bates Parker, Kipton Patton Parker, Navy Rose Parker, Abigail Reese Saterfiel, Anistyn Kate Saterfiel, Livian Rayne Saterfiel, Joshua Crew Roan and Caraline Capri Roan; his sister Beverly (Mike Eymard) of Cutoff, LA; his mother-in-law Ann Eubanks of Monroe, LA; his siblings-in-law, Gary, Monica Greer, Todd and Linda Eubanks-Grayson of West Monroe, LA; and his friend David Fife. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Due to the ongoing pandemic we will live stream the service.

Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in hopes of finding a cure for Mike's granddaughter Abby Saterfiel.
