He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Hughes, Jr. and Veronica Maxwell; and his brother Adam Denton Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Michael A. Hughes (Taylor) of Calhoun and Christopher S. Hughes (Chapin) of Rayville; his grandchildren, Haidyn Hughes, Adalynn Hughes and Gabriel Hughes; his brothers, Shannon Maxwell (Jessica), Stacy Maxwell (Whitney) and Matt Hughes (Allison); and his stepparents, Kim Hughes and Donnie Maxwell. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
