She was predeceased by: her parents, John King and Ina King; her spouse Odis S. Fontenot; and her brothers, John C. King and Donald King.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Willis (Kirby), Odis "Sammy" Fontenot Jr. (Lisa), Kenny Fontenot (Clevea), Ricky Fontenot (Candy) and John Gary Fontenot (Kristi); and her grandchildren, Holly, Courtney, Justin, Kendra, Sydney, Amber, Allison, Whitney, Kevin, Kelsi, Zach, Emily and Audrey. She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren.
