He was predeceased by: his wife Glenda Faye Patterson; his parents, Fred Patterson and Ruby Patterson; his siblings, Virginia Lee Stanski and Robert Lewis Patterson; his son Robert Maurice Patterson; and his brother-in-law Lonnie Wilhite.
He is survived by: his sons, Rusty Patterson (Sandra) of Monroe, LA and Gary Neal Patterson (Elaine) of Lafayette, GA; his siblings, David Patterson (Terry) of Columbia, LA and Patty Wilhite of West Monroe, LA; his grandchildren, Jennifer Patterson of Monroe, LA, Neal Patterson, McClain Patterson, Kay Dudley (Zack) of Spearsville, LA, Steven Patterson of Monroe, LA, Caroline Griffith (Jeremiah) of Georgia and Andrew Patterson of Monroe, LA; and his great grandchildren, Karli, Elijah, Lilly, Elias and Jackson. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
