He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Henry "Hank", Sandra Zizzi and Stanley Green. He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Henry C. "Trey" Zizzi, III and Deborah Green Zizzi of West Monroe, Louisiana.; his siblings, Hannah Zizzi, Evan Zizzi, Haley Peterson (Rob) and Tyler Zizzi; his grandparents, Linda, Bob Ellig, Barbara White and John White; his aunts and uncles, Larry Green (Marla), Zach Green (Jaclyn), Chris White (Kim), Mary Catherine Jones (Will), Anna Beth Reid (Cole), Todd Zizzi (Shea) and Stanton Zizzi (Bridgit); and his cousins, Kristina Green, Mary Kathryn Wilkerson (Roland), Luke Green (Catherine), Landon Green (Madison), Julianna Green and Jude Green.

In lieu of flowers, the Zizzi family requests that any donations in honor of Clay be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
