With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marzell Hemphill of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on October 26, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alta Lou "Tiny" and Alford "Bodid" Johnson; her brother Benoit Johnson; and her stepson Scott Hemphill. She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Lynn Morris; her stepchildren, Lamar Hemphill (Diane), Janet Hemphill, Pam McCready (Kenny), Ginger Hemphill and Randy Hemphill; her granddaughter Keysha Ward (Lance); her great grandchildren, Desari Lucky, Hayden White, Keylan and Kameron Ward; and her siblings, Mark Johnson (Penny), Sonja Aurelius (Marcus) and Lewellen Kidder (Troy). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
