It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Thames (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Sikes, Louisiana, who passed away on August 29, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Iley Pierce and Rosa Sikes Simmons; her husband Donald Thames; and her siblings, Earline Barlow, Vanoil Adams, Cois, Devane and Frank Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Don Thames (Janell), Lori Thames and Carol Thames Matthews (Allan); her grandchildren, Jared Thames (Margaret), Seth, Marilou and Colbey Sharp; her great grandchild Nathan Thames; and her siblings, LaVance, Gene Simmons (Louceal), Annette Rankin (Gerald) and Linda Bowman. She is also survived by grandmother and watching her grandchildren.
