Mary Jo Green Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jo Green of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on November 25, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Lee and Florence Tabor Lee (Virgil "Red" Green); her husband Virgil "Red" Green; her siblings, Christine Lee, Lorraine Taylor, L. R. and Curtis Lee; her son Johnny Green; her son-in-law Alvin Austin; her nephews, Jim and Tommy Lee; and her great-grandparent Lt. William Tabor.
She is survived by: her sons, Jackie Green and Billie Green (Judy); her daughter-in-law Sharon Green; her children, Sue Austin, Bobby Green (Beth) and Cherry Lockwood (Barry); her grandchildren, Timothy Griffin, Kim Taylor, Lee Green, David Green, Bobbie Sue Leonard, Joey Higginbotham, Jon Wesley Green, Carmen Murphrey, Justin Higginbotham, Jamie Hodges, Ben Green, Burt Green, Michelle Griffin, Stracy Austin and Jennifer Austin; and her caregivers, Taylor, Destiny and Breonna. She is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
