It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Edmonson of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Nancy Lynn Vaughn; her brother Billy John Golson (Buddy); her nephew John Wesley Golson; and her niece Cheryl Kay Golson Moore. She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Telano (Joey); her grandsons, Justin Mitchell, Cory Telano (Chelsey), Trey Telano (Jolie) and Brett Vaughn-Zyjewskis (Matt); her great grandchildren, Charlie, Payson, Drake and Noah; her son-in-law Ray Vaughn; and her sister-in-law Eva Nell Golson.
Memorials may be made to McGuire United Methodist Church in West Monroe.
