Mary Black Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Black of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Arcadia, Louisiana, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Lavon Watley and Lucille Keene Watley; her siblings, Janie "Pearl" Mahaffey, Emma "PeeWee" Sykes and Billly Watley; and her great grandchildren, Easton Craig McCoy and Benjamin Parker McCoy.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Black (Melanie), Connie Hankins, Marilyn Black, Steve Black (Scarlette), Susan Russell (Kyle) and William Black (Christina); and her grandchildren, Amy, Allyson, Justin, Shannon, Brittany, Betsy, Chad, Kelly, Hayley, Anna and Payton. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
