It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Nelson Snipes of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Crowville, Louisiana, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son John Mark Snipes; and her parents, Agnus Nelson and Hansel Nelson. She is survived by: her husband J. W. Snipes; her sons, Dr. Eric Snipes (Kim) of Shreveport and Steven Snipes; her grandchildren, Trey Snipes (Emily), Dene Masters (Levi), Gabriel Snipes, Scott Bullock (Ashley) and Nikki Martin (Brandon); her siblings, Sharlot Robinson (Lee Roy) and Glen Nelson; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Snipes Cannon and Janie Nelson. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
