It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mamie Lee McCarty White (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on May 25, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie T. McCarty and Nancy E. McCarty; her husband Nolan "Snookie" White; her granddaughter Jessica White Monnat; and her great grandchild Samantha Monnat.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Hopkins (Tommy), Nancy Dowdy (Randy), Larry White (Donna Vestal White) and Jerry L. White (Cleta Dawkins White); and her brothers, Aaron R. McCarty and Ernest McCarty. She is also survived by eight grandsons; eighteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the charity of ones choice.
