She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Allen and Lizzie Allen; her son Mickey Russell; her siblings, Thelma Hinton, Faye Wall and R. B. Allen; her grandson Stacey Russell; and her daughter-in-law Betty Russell.

She is survived by: her children, Diane McGehee (Bob), Cherri Bryan (Alfred), Kenneth Russell (Irene), Kathy Hebert (Mark) and Randy Russell (Cathy). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
