She is survived by: her mother Mary Gene Rhodes; her husband John David Russell; her daughter Nora Catherine Asher (Jeremy); her grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Asher, David Jeremiah Asher and Daniel James Asher; and her siblings, Susan Spears, Beth Lawson, Helen Asfar (Alex), Laurie Smith (Phillip) and Vergil Rhodes, Jr. (Susan). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
