It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene Lena Easterling Best of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Easterling and Lorene Easterling; her husband Harold; her grandchildren, Angela Best and Jamie Finklea; and her siblings, Ruby, Louise, Parthene, Lenny, Bill and Hugh.
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Best (Debra), Rhonda Finklea (Rex) and Mike Best (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Heath, Ashley, David and Maegen. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Liberty Grove Church of God (504 Marion Sims Rd, West Monroe, LA 71292).
