With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Linda Ann McCain Armstrong of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Winnsboro, Louisiana, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wade McCain and Carmen McCain; her husband William T. "Bill" Armstrong; her grandson Jarrett Turner; her siblings, Lavelle McCain, Pauline Black, Eloise Atkinson of Doris Hartwell, W. H and Ned McCain; the father of her children Desha Turner; and her nephew Jerry McCain.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Smalley Bishop (Brad), Byron Turner (Deanna), Dana Day (Darwin) and Paul Wade Turner (Sara); her grandchildren, Quad Smalley, Whitney Day, Jameson Turner, Sara Campbell, Casey Smalley, Tyler Day, Jacie Stuckey, Carmen Turner and Carley Turner; and her sisters-in-law, Fay McCain and Pauline Braddock. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, sisters to her, numerous special nieces and nephews and so many other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 6th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - Winnsboro (3950 Front St, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 at the Mulhearn Memorial Park (623 US-80, Monroe, LA 71203).
