She was predeceased by: her husband Herman Deemes Sr.; her daughter Cynthia Kay Deemes; and her grandson Aaron. She is survived by: her sons, James F. Freeman, Sr. (Debbie) of West Monroe, Cornelius Roy Deemes (Tina) of Biloxi, MS and Herman Deemes, Jr. (Josie) of Chamlette. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
