She is survived by: her grandson Paulo; her great grandchild Jude; her husband Sam McCarty; her children, Joseph Lee McCarty, Robyn McCarty (Jerry Simpson), Paul McCarty (Emelita) and Julie Higginbotham (Andrew); and her grandchildren, Hannah McCarty, Jessie Simpson, Sam Higginbotham, Paolo McCarty, Jackson Higginbotham, Charlie Higginbotham, Emeren McCarty, Elijah McCarty and Eliyah McCarty. She is also survived by great- grandson Jude Free; and many loving nephews and nieces.
