He is survived by: his brother-in-law Gill; his children, Vernon "Spot" Hodge (Susie), Vincent Hodge (Anna), Otis Hodge, Theresa Pittman (Mike), Thomas "Tommy" Hodge, Laura Rodden (Bubba) and Michelle Pletka (Todd); his siblings, Ellie Johnston (Van), Elvia Boyd, Marie Boyd (Troy), Martin Cavazos (Denise), Conchita Teekell (Gill), Johnny Cavazos (Susan) and Manuel Cavazos; and his grandson Zach Hodge. He is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
