It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon McConathy (West Monroe, Louisiana), leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Leon "Butch" McConathy; his parents, Maxie Prudhomme McConathy and Ira J. McConathy; his brother Michael McConathy; and also, William Storey and Lucille Storey.

He is survived by: his wife Sarah Storey McConathy; his daughter Jane McConathy Brandon (Jerry); his grandchild Ashley Brandon Pere; his husband Dom; his siblings-in-law, Joe Storey (Melrose) and Frances Storey; his nephew Randy Storey of Greg Storey; his nieces, Gaye Hudani and Kim Storey; and also, Patrick Brandon (Rachel), Katelyn McConathy, Carson Turner and Campbell Turner (Ashley).
