It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leland Edward Hamm of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Leland Edward has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin Hamm and Denner Hamm; and his siblings, Jerry Wayne Hamm, Doris Armstrong, Earline Hamm and Shirline Grissett.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Weeks (Kathy), Mark Weeks (Melissa), Corinca Hamm and Leland Hamm Jr.; and his sister Virginia Murphy. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Griffin F. H. (911 Warren Dr, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
