He was predeceased by: his father Finn P. Heard; his siblings, Kathey H. Lawrence and Jimmy M. Lee; his nephew Josh Calhoun; and his brother-in-law Harvey Holiness.
He is survived by: his mother Kathryn Duffy Heard; his siblings, Charles P. Heard (Ginger) and Janice H. Holiness; his aunt Lillie Jean H. Pittman; and his nieces and nephews, Tammie H. Temple (Greg), Rachel King (Brian), Natalie Bassil (Brian), Bethany Wilson (Grant), Cherie Calhoun, Charles Scott Heard (Kelly), Joel V. Heard (Wendy), Jimmy Corbin and Jeff Lawrence. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
