She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Lowe and Margie T. Rogers; and her brother-in-law David Mullins. She is survived by: her husband Edwin "Eddie" Smalling; her children, Dusty Smalling (Carol), Shea White (Shawn), Brad Smalling (Rachel), Kris Willis (Jade), Kalie Guiterrez (John) and Kalab Smalling (Ashley); and her siblings, Toni Mullins and Mike Lowe. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
