He was predeceased by: his father David Wayne Vestal; and his brother-in-law Larry Lofton. He is survived by: his wife Threse A. Carr Vestal; his son Michael Vestal (Heather); his mother Elaine McClanahan Vestal; his sisters, Donna Vestal White (Larry) and DeWanna Vestal Lofton; his stepchildren, Chad Vermillion (Jeanna), Ouida "Katie" Sims and Bobby Sims (Leola); and his grandchildren, Kenzie Vestal, Casey Vermillion, Jacie Vestal, Jackson Brackett, Sloane Sims, Kellen Vermillion, Averie Vestal, Kendall Vermillion and Remi Sims.
