She was predeceased by: her daughter Jennifer Walters; her parents, Oby Stennett and Doris Stennett; her siblings, Melba Clark and Mike Stennett; and her nephew Tony Stennett.
She is survived by: her husband John E. Walters; her son John R. Walters (Jessica); and her sister Joan McElroy (Terry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; along with other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
