Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Kathy Nelson of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Sterlington, Louisiana, who passed away at the age of 54, on July 30, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jane Nelson and Billy Nelson; and her former husband Ronald Spillers. She is survived by: her son Doc Spillers of Downsville, LA.; her siblings, Donna Nelson of West Monroe, LA, Melinda Bullock (Curt) of Walker, LA. and Scott "Randy" Nelson of West Monroe, LA.; her nieces, Renae Vespremi (David), Erin Davidson, Emily Henry and Kristen Mims (Christopher); her nephew Richard Tremaine (Katie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Abigail, Lucy-Jane, Amelia, Carson, Liam and Isaac. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, her family is asking for donations to be made to the American Diabetes Foundation, National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI), or Rays of Sonshine in Monroe, LA.
