She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Duffey and Emma Duffey; her stepfather Joe Deats; her brothers, Lloyd B. Duffey, Donald Duffey and Frank Duffey; her husband Finn P. Heard; her children, Jimmie M. Lee, Kathy H. Lawrence and Larry C. Heard; and her grandson Joshua Calhoun.
She is survived by: her children, Charles P. Heard (Ginger) and Janice Holdiness; and her sister-in-law Lillie Jean Heard Pittman. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
