We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2025, at the age of 71, Karen Dianne Simpson of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Williams, Arizona passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Rae Smith and Ervin Simpson; her brother Barry Simpson; her former husband Larry Hicks; her husband Charlie Shingler; her nephew Gary Simpson; and her cousin Jessica Heard.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Dianne Clevenger; her grandchildren, Michael "Mac" Clevenger and Marley Clevenger; her children, Jason Clevenger, Richie Magee and Patrick O'Neal; her brother Dale Simpson (Liz); and her cherisheds, Ya-Yas, Julie BogganSmith, Teresa BogganSmith, Leslie Bryan and Ruth Ramsey. She is also survived by children and grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to River Cities Humane Society for Cats in Monroe, LA.
