With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Dianne Atkins of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in El Dorado, Arkansas, who passed away on April 26, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, D. M. Durham and Clarice Odom Durham; her brother Max; her sister-in-law Janeth Durham; her siblings, Charles Durham and Linda; and her brother-in-law Tommy Perry.
She is survived by: her nephew Oren Howard Atkins, Jr.; her daughters, Rebecca Atkins Hays (Brandon) and Jennifer Atkins Martin (Andy); her grandchildren, Luke Howard Hays, Connor James Hays, Lauren Claire Martin and Parker James Martin; and her sisters-in-law, Jean Atkins Shaw (Sherman) and Patsy Colvin Durham. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
