It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce King of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on October 7, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Taunton and Lela Taunton; her husband Claude Lester King; and her siblings, Albert Shelton Taunton, Edward "Sonny" Laverne Taunton, Charles Taunton, Wendall Wayne Taunton, Norma Lee Miller, Agnus Marie Williams, Eloise Walker, Frances Carter, Thelma Haywood, Fay Maurine Melville and Patricia Fern Odom.
She is survived by: her brother Billy Joe Taunton; her children, Mark King (Terie) and Margie King Robinson (Chris); and her grandchildren, Cade Robinson, Jake Robinson, Dannion King (Jordan), Kassidy King, Brodie King and Rebekah King. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
