With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny L. Byrd of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on July 4, 2020 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Byrd and Annie Byrd; and his siblings, Clifford Byrd, Cleo McBroom, Dillard Byrd, Hulan Byrd and Alvie Byrd.

He is survived by: his wife Josie Byrd; his children, Laura Annette Byrd (Ken), John Wade Byrd (Tamara) and Ben Hampton Byrd (Belinda); and his grandsons, Tristan Brownlee (Brandy), Carey Stringer and Justin Jordan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
