He is survived by: his brother Luther Ray Stapleton; his children, Beth (McMillan), Teresa (Bobby Eppinette), Walter (Gail Stapleton) and Wanda Stapleton; his grandchildren, Lisa McMillan, Ashley, John Gulley, Kimberly Stapleton, BreAnna Stapleton and Cassie Eppinette; his great grandchildren, Chandler Hall, Chaz McMillan, Alyssa Gulley, Logan Gulley, Isabella Layton, Drake Lowery, Bristol Brown, Maddi Stapleton, Lilli Stapleton and Lila Jordan; and his grandsons, Chad McMillan, Dusty Stapleton, Lance Stapleton, Nathan Eppinette, Chandler Hall, Chaz McMillan and Logan Gulley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
