He was predeceased by: his parents, Marjorie Doris Robertson Becton (Earl Becton Jr.) and Earl Becton; his wife Angelia Marie Becton; his daughter Julie Ann Martin Jones; his grandson George Robert "Robbie" Milford; and his siblings, Alfred Dee Becton, Sr. and Marjorie Janice Becton Hough.
He is survived by: his children, Cindy Kay Becton Jolly and John Earl Becton, Jr.; his grandchildren, Shawn Robert Becton, Jarod Cole Becton and Hunter Denise Becton; his nephew Alfred Dee Becton Jr.; his nieces, Robin Becton Tisdale and Sharon Becton; and his great-nephew Kenneth Earl Becton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Community Baptist Church Children's Project.
