He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Earl McClendon and Ruby Hanks McClendon; and his sisters, Alma Ray Patrick and Martha Carolyn Scott. He is survived by: his wife Ann LaDart McClendon; and his children, Kathy McClendon Marshall (Ben) and John McClendon, Jr. (Denise Kindrix).
