He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Clifton Doan and Myrtle Knighten Doan. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Nappier Doan; his sons, Clifton Wayne Doan, James Richard Doan and Davis DeWayne Doan (Alissa); his brother James McDaniel (Wanda); and his brother-in-law Bruce Nappier (Debra). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Northeast Louisiana Veteran's Cemetery (2413 US-425, Rayville, LA 71269).
