It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Dumas Sr. (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on June 24, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Dumas and Mamie Dumas; and his siblings, Olean Hilburn and Dallas Dumas. He is survived by: his grandson Carl; his wife Danna Dumas; his children, Matt Dumas (Melissa), Tanya Willis (Terry), Stephanie Johnson (Neil), Joe Dumas, Jr. (Felicia), Michelle Drake (Marvin), Tim Mixon, Sr. (Brooke), Donnie Mixon, Jr. (Brittany), Jesse Taylor (Angie) and Tina Foster (Shane); and his sister Ruby Whitlock. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; many friends and relatives.
