She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Rhodes and Edna Alexander; her stepson Donald Taylor; her stepmother Verda Rhodes; and her brother John W. Rhodes.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Taylor; her pets, Bubba and Cricket; her children, Mickey Ann Edwards (Allan), John Sedberry, Brenda Gilliland (Travis) and Carol Ann Martin (Sherman); her grandchildren, Brandon Martin (Nikki), Bobby Ross Martin (Destiny), Trenda Stevens, Angela Taylor, Andy Sanford and Alex Peden (Marti); and her close friends, Martha Barnes, Geraldine Cloyd and Pat Kennedy. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
