In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Joan Ladale had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Joan Ladale may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Greer and Lois Greer; her sister Geraldine Greer Newman; and her niece Stephanie Greer. She is survived by: her husband Larry Smith; her children, Tammy Smith Peppers (Tim) and Larry Alan Smith (Alex); her grandchildren, Logan Taylor and Lillian Taylor; and her siblings, Russell Greer (Donna) and Jo Evelyn Greer McCullough (Mac). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Baptist Church (2274 LA-578, Winnsboro, LA 71295).
