He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Petch and Edith Petch; and his siblings, Margaret Gentry, Joe Allen Petch (Betty Carol) and George Irving Petch.
He is survived by: his wife Olita Bennett Petch; his children, Dawn Cherie Breaux and Colby Glen Petch; his granddaughter Amelia Reese Breaux; his sister Jane Sullivan (Bobby); and his sister-in-law Ella Sue Petch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
