He is survived by: his wife Shirley Smead; his children, Dave Smead (Aline), Sherry Stafford (Walter) and Genie Smead; his sisters, Carolyn Ogier (Howard) and Pat Saulsbury (Jerry); and his grandchildren, Dave Smead Jr., Allen Wyles, Jessica Ates, Haley Jones, Hannah Moncrief, Holden Stafford, Katlynn McManus and Daniel McManus. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
